The never ending wait continues...

Yesterday, February 25th we heard from our agency. Another delay. Now all the documents have to be translated into Russian and notarized over there. That takes about 2 weeks and then at least another week for the MOE to review it and IF he approves he will issue travel dates. This is becoming very frustrating to put it mildly. The whole process is taking longer than originally anticipated and it's one obstacle after another. We've come so far, we can't turn back now. We need to go see our baby and bring him home. Hopefully Russia will get it together and our agency will push a little harder and it will be smooth sailing to our first and final visits!

It's getter closer..

We spoke to our Adoption Agency Friday 2/11. We should receive our travel dates (invitation to Russia) within 2 weeks. We were told to expect to travel within 1 1/2 to 2 weeks after we hear from them. We are filling out our paperwork for Visas this week and will mail our passports to the facilitators. Unfortunately the double entry Visas will cost more than 1 roundtrip trip to Russia.
It is finally moving along again after a two month stand still. Our Journey to Matthew is back on track and full steam ahead!
