Christmas morning

Matthew carefully climbing downstairs, unaware of what is waiting.

Wow! Santa left lots of cars and stickers in the stocking Grandma Joan knitted for him.

Enoying a cookie and presents left by Santa.
The Hummer which is very cool and very LOUD was a gift from Uncle Mark & Aunt Shellie.

Almost Christmas

"Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse..."

Here are two studio shots taken on December 10th.

Here is what Santa set up for Matthew on Christmas Eve.
Santa was very happy that Matthew left him Tollhouse Cookies and a Margarita!
The kid made out like a bandit, I think he now has enough toys and gadgets to fill up the Toddler playroom at the "Big House".

The "Terrific" Two's!

Sorry this is a bit out of sequence but since we changed over to internet explorer 7.0 and the Time Warner change from Comcast, programs were disappearing, changing etc. Had to uninstall and reinstall several and of course Blogger finished their beta testing and all users had to switch to the new version and anyone who knows me will attest that I don't take to "changes" well. Anyway....here is Matthew's official 2 year old portraits. Looks so sweet doesn't he?

Meeting Santa round #2

This time we went to the Mall. Santa was wise to keep a grip on the hockey stick that Matthew insists on taking everywhere when wearing his LA Kings jersey. Of course if Matthew understood scores/standings, he would be wearing a Ducks jersey or based on the game yesterday perhaps Nashville? (LA Kings 0 vs. Nashville 7).

Santa asked Matthew what he would like for Christmas. Matthew's standard answer..."No" and jumped off Santa's lap and ran over to Bombay Kids where he made a beeline for the Air Hockey table.

Happy Hanukkah!

Meeting Santa round #1

The Castaic food pantry hauls Santa around the neighborhood every year. This was Matthew's first time on Santa's lap. He was not amused. He wanted the bag of candy and stuffed reindeer, no time to pose for pictures. He's also wondering what's in that giant green sack in the back of the sleigh. We're trying the mall Santa tomorrow. May the force be with me!

Thanksgiving 2006

Matthew celebrated his first Thanksgiving. He had one bite of Turkey and then ate plenty of mashed potatoes and green beans. He had a bit of cranberry sauce and then an entire slice of Banana Cream Pie. Obviously he was saving the best for last. Here are some pictures of him enjoying the afternoon/evening.
